Decarboxylation is an important step to understand when making your own edibles recipes at home. Whether you’re decarboxylating THC or decarboxylating CBD, it’s important to understand the times and temperatures for decarboxylation, and if it’s even necessary to do so for your recipe and the effects that you’re really looking for.

While decarboxylating cannabis can seem complicated, and there are many gadgets out there to do it that can simplify the process (I love this one), you can do a good job of it with a few simple tools in your kitchen and a timer.
