  1. Thank you for sharing your e-book. When I am able to I will purchase the entire book.

You might be interested in two of my Medical Marijuana articles on my blog. They were written for Guardian Liberty Voice Newspaper. Also, I just started a petition on about changing the DEA classification of marijuana. The link of that is here and on my blog.

    1. Hi there, can someone advise if I need to add water to make cannabis oil …. i read somewhere that cbd and terpenes are water soluble? It takes a while to try to remove the water so keen to learn more. Many thanks and Happy Easter everyone. TIA from Tasmania

  4. Dear Corinne; Thank You for all you do. I enjoy reading all your articles on Wake and Bake. You are the best Authority and Chef On Cannibis I have ever found. I trust your judgement and respect you for your right to the point Honesty! I will be getting the Magical Butter Machine as soon as I’m able too and the Nova. I have read the reviews and I know when you like something and recommend it well it has to be a great product. I look forward to all your future posts and exceptional Recipes!

  5. Love the recipes. Disabled Canuck, rid myself of 13 yrs of prescribed, heavy opiates with home made edibles. 30 months opiate free. Just entered the MB2 contest. Thanks for what you do!

    1. Proud of you. Did it myself now free of opiates for 11 yrs. Im lucky to live in a state with legal medecinal. Got my licence and kill more pain and medical problems i have than pills. With no side effects the 5 heavy meds they want to prescribe me. Your on the good path, keep going on!!!

    2. I’m seven months sober finished Suboxone April 1.
      I have volcano vaporizer
      Also edibles and cannibutter.
I think this tincture would be great.
      Project for tomorrow.

    3. DUDE!!!!!!! I love reading about how people can and do get off of opiates via cannabis treatment of some type. Good for you and stay healthy!

      1. I am doing my best to hook up with what I need to eliminate doctors from my life and be able to control my pain and have energy with cannabis. I have been doing a lot of research, but I need a reliable source for the product. I am serious and not play games.

  6. Thanks for this! I have been using MM for years but now have a spot on my lungs and would prefer edibles. I also make salves to rub on for my pain and would like to include infused oil of some kind if I can figure out how to do it. This sounds like a nifty little tool and I will be saving my dollars to purchase one. Thanks again for all the useful information! In Canada, we are still fighting to have it decriminalized and legalized….I am hopeful!

    1. I just bought and used the ARDENT LIFT. The easiest non stinky, no guess work way to decarboxylate. Worth every penny, as med Canna products are sooo expensive. Now I just need a great butter/oil recipe.

  7. Thank you so much for your generous information. I am ordering your book soon and can’t wait to dive into the recipes.
Question: If using RSO oil to make coconut cannabis oil, is it really necessary (once the coconut oil has melted and the RSO added) to cook for a half hour at low temp since the RSO oil is essentially ready for use?
    Thank you again.

        1. You may have a built up tolerance. Maybe you might want to try to try a CBD cleanse. RSO will be ruined if you decarbonize it. It’s already been done and ready to use.

  8. Hi Corinne, I’m new to using marijuana medicinally. I’ll be getting my medical card soon! I am looking for edibles that will help relieve pain during the day, not make me tired and maybe even energize. I am trying to get off percoset.

Is there info on your site or can you advise me otherwise?

    Thanks for your help.

    1. Gerry, I am trying to the same thing you were talking about in April, 2017. Please let me know if you have arrived yet. I am anxious for a way to control pain and have energy as well. I have given up on Rheumatologists.

  9. I made the capsules with gelatin capsules and the cap-m-quick capsule machine, I cooled my coconut oil but the capsules melted under the cap machine. What kind of capsules do you use? Or did I not cool enough, they never came in contact with water. So needless to say I had a mess lol

  10. What do you do to prevent weight gain. MM has helped eliminate so much of my debilitating pain but I am gaining weight. Any sugestions

    1. Stop eating sugar! I went completely off sugar about 2-1/2 years ago and I’ve lost 95 pounds. I eat about a pound of butter a week. Sugar is the devil. It causes inflammation which causes disease. I haven’t felt this good in 40 years!

      1. Stop eating white sugar only or foods and drinks that turn into sugar after digested like carbs and alcohol and practically every other good thing to eat on the planet? Just kidding!! Thanks!!

      2. I am doing my best to hook up with what I need to eliminate doctors from my life and be able to control my pain and have energy with cannabis. I have researched but now I need help choosing reliable sources.

  11. I am also a stay at home mom (of 3 boys). Living in MA where it is recently legalized I am interested in getting into making edibles. Your blog is amazing. I can only one day hope to be able to do what you do. This would be an incredible stepping stone to get me to that point. I want to do it all the right way and the best way possible. Thank you for this giveaway and the chance.

  12. NormaJean Hedlund

Have family member who has allergic reaction to MM when he smokes so hoping edibles will work. Need place to purchase cannabutter. Any ideas appreciated

    1. Hi Norma Jean
Where do u live? I’m asking because I make cannabutter and canna coconut oil. I also make a few different edibles (& medibles)including infused Caramel POTcorn. If we happen to be neighbours I could help you or if we’re not neighbours I’m sure we could figure something out.
      Best regards

      1. Dear Cat, im new to med. mar. I have stage 4 lung cancer, so I can’t smoke or vape? I live in NJ (South), I hope and pray that you are close, they don’t sell edibles in NJ!!! So all I’ve been making is the baked crackers, and the lozenges. I am very afraid to use the butter machine, I’m afraid I’ll screw it up?

    2. Hi again
I feel that I should clarify – when I ask where u live. I just mean country, city, etc. I most definitely am not asking for ur address. Lol!

  13. I was lured here by a link for cannabis salve but all I can find is edibles. Do you have a salve recipe available somewhere?

  14. This is probably not a new issue but here in Florida Medicinal is about to become a reality and I want to be informed & ready when it does. I am almost 70 and remember the 60s oh so well. I have a plethora of moderate to severe aches & pain. Feet – Arthritis, Back – Herniated disk, Knees – Meniscus, Pneumonia – Recurring, to start with. I know cannabis eases Arthritis pains. Probably won’t do too much for my back. Can’t smoke it, I have COPD, I also have blood clots in my lungs with Deep Vein Thrumbosis in left thigh. Anyhoo if my Md recommends it I want to be ready to start. Can you give me some direction? Now where do I start? Thanks, Rich

  15. Thanks so much for the sample of your book. I will most definitely be getting the entire book very soon. Thanks again I was taken here to sign up for a free session but there was nothing here for a form to fill out at your email said you were going to do this one by taking info & then picking people was I duped into clicking on a link that was fake again I hope not but I did get your book just no form to fill out for a session. Thanks for trying Corrine You terrific, Bonnie

  16. Hi Corinne! Wow thank you so much for putting together a cannabis cookbook! This is EXACTLY what k have been searching for! I am a medical marijuana patient in Maine. I am wondering how your would go about decarbing kief? Would it work to decarb in pyrex at 240 degrees? Not sure how it would strain out of coconut oil or if it would work to not strain at all? But would that affect taste? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! Love & light to you!! Thank you for sharing your work I’ll be ordering your cookbook this weekend 🙂

  17. Hiya! I’m fairly new to baking with cannabis and I don’t have enough money to invest in a Magical Butter. Is there a substitute I could use for the time being that can be found in a standard kitchen? Or would a normal pot on low heat do the trick?

  18. I made this recipe using a kilner jar instead of a mason jar and there was no smell what-so-ever after 24 hours in the slow cooker.

  19. Hi! Looking for ideas or “how to” for use of left over plant matter from making the coconut oil. Would like to use a french press for tea or coffee, but, looking for thoughts on the ingredients, how to, etc.

  20. I have been making cannibus infused with cocunut oil for about 7 months now.I give it to old people who are in pain .and it works so good im having a hard time keeping up with there orders .was just wondering if anyone has any ideas about a preservitive that i could add to it ? Thank you

    1. I’d like to know the answer if and when you get one. Also, do you make it for personal use or do you produce it with the intent to sell? What are the requirements for me to make and sell it in California? Is a business license needed for edibles being made for a one day event only and if so, what is the cost? What’s the cost based on? Is there an official manual for the State of California which addresses the issues I’ve mentioned or perhaps you know of a website I can take a look at to see what kind of information I can absorb today. Thanks!!

  21. Thanks for the new book on dealing with the munchies. It came just as I’m trying to take off some weight. I use marijuana to help with insomnia, and I get really hungry after I take it. Not good to add an extra meal at night!
Despite the insomnia, I’m forever grateful to be alive after my brush with cancer, and to my wonderful wife Valorie, who has been tremendously helpful and supportive over the last six years.

  22. Really like your site and thanks for the free download. Been smoking for years but relatively new to cooking so sites and books like yours are much appreciated. I live on the central coast in California and we’re getting ready for the big change next month, wish us luck, we’re gonna need it. Should be interesting. Thanks again.

    1. Welcome aboard! The new law changes will be a shock to medical patients at first, but it will level out quickly! Good luck! 🙂

  23. All new in the interest and curiosity in recipies with canna. As a crohn patient i am looking foward to add your recipie to my daily nutrition.

    1. Welcome to our page Chantal! I hope you have fun exploring and trying new recipes, as well as find some relief in the process!

    1. Yes! You are absolutely right, the process does decarb in some scenarios where heat is applied for an extended period of time. I encourage you to also read our blog about Decarboxylation, time and temperature do make a difference in getting the most out of your flower and the best potency.

  24. I just wanted to say thank you! I love this site. I especially appreciate your scientific approach to reviewing recipes and products.

  25. Hi Corrine, just wondered if I could use canna butter instead of canna oil for your suppository recipe?
I really enjoy your knowledge that you share.

  26. A friend tells me I should try the infused honey but i am an insulin resistance type 2 diabetic and eating a low carb high fat diet that is fixing my insulin issues. However honey is high in carbs and I can only have a tsp once a week. My friend says no, that the infused honey will help. Please advise keeping in mind my diet.

  27. A year or so ago I put some cannabis in a sealed container and it has just been sitting in my garage at room temperature. My understanding is that after sitting like this most everything will turn to CBN. What would be the best way to extract the CBN, I presume alcohol. Do I need to decarb? How long, what temp, or a long slow extraction in the dark? Any comments would be appreciated.

  28. Super person who has a coupon on her website for the best kitchen appliances I have ever bought! Magical Butter Maker arrived from Walmart right after he made butter in the crock yesterday. What a wonderful individual you are.

  29. Thank you so very much for all of your books. My husband was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. While we both are long term cannabis users, the information and ideas in your book have been a godsend!! Much love Christina

  30. I’m trying to get my 26 year old son, who has brain damage, off of all his horrid phych meds. I’ve started him on CBD oil and have got him off of Tegretol and lowered his Thorazine by a third. The pot doc we saw said that we’ll need to add THC to start healing his brain from all the crap the medical world had him on. He’s doing a- fucking- mazing so far. No hallucinations since he started the CBD. I can’t wait to start the THC therapy but I live in AZ where it’s a little tricky. He doesn’t qualify for a medical marijuana card. He has brain damage from an overdose of heroin that his birth mother gave him when he was 3 months old. Any ideas how I can do this legally?
Thanks for your wake and bake site, I’ve gotten a lot of information here tonight.

  31. Thank you for the downloadable book! I am a medical marijuana patient and so is my oldest daughter. We both have fibromyalgia and a rare form of a hereditary inflammatory arthritis that attacks, primarily, the joints, spine and hips. I am also diabetic and my daughter is hypoglycemic. Keeping the weight off is very important because extra weight puts an extra strain on the joints and spine. Any extra help controlling the munchies is very appreciated. Thank you again!!

  33. Corrine,
I love this website! I am a Breast Cancer/Lung Cancer Survivor. I have 3 “spots” on my lungs they don’t know what they are but they haven’t grown since using edibles and such… I have just made Coconut Canna oil and Tincture, will let you know the results.
Thank you for this easy to use website… great work!! I can’t wait to read all your books…

  34. How about naturally decarbing it wouldn’t you get 100% no thc heat loss. I tried it with stems and sugar leafs about 2 ounces. Let the sugar leafs dry till they crumbled ground the stems and leafs into a pulp and added it to the amount of oil needed to make a batch of brownies. I let it sit in the oil for 3 to 4 weeks. Then cheese clothed it and made my brownies. I made 1 by 1 squares 2 1by1 had me on fire. Just wondering if you’ve tried a no heat oil infuse method and your results if you did.

  35. Corrine,

I am new to by our site and to the world of MM. What I am not new to is pain. I have had 14 back surgeries and I have been in pain management since 2005. On July 29, 2018….I quit my pain medicine cold turkey and I was left with no hope. I needed but to 10 percocet a day to control my pain and my quality of life was negligible. In Sept my mom let me use some THC relief balm that her niece who lives in Vegas let her try. I was instantly amazed. Unfortunately we don’t live in a state that has forward thinking lawmakers so my amazement was followed by profound grief. I was able to contact my cousin in Vegas and though me have never met she instantly vowed to help me. I have tried bath soaks, gummies, patches, salves and vape pens. Because of transport the easiest thing for me to do is make my own oils using RSO. I have used it to make my own balm and It works great. The patches have literally changed my life but I have not found a way to create a transdermal system at home. Lastly I have not been able to find information on how much RSO to use to infuse oils for making edibles. The syringes contain 1 gram each. My tolerance is very low as this is my first time ever using MM for any reason ever. Can you please tell me how much RSO and how much coconut oil I should use to start experimenting. I can’t tell you how much your help would mean. Thanks for offering me a bit of hope reading your work.

  36. I love to cook. I love to bake. I just made my first edibles using this recipe. DUDE! I mean. . .REALLY?! These are just so fucking amazing. Ive shared them as holiday gifts. Everyone is like, DUDE!!!

These are legit. I poured them into some cute dinosaur molds. . .perfect.

This recipe has inspired a new love for making chocolates. . .and more. . .I am hooked. Thanks! You’re awesome.

  37. So glad I found your site! I have cervical cancer and am putting my own program together(i.e. NO chemo or radiation).
Thank-you for all the info! 🙂

  38. My husband and are having the opposite effect – no appetite and after taking the cannabis for about 8 months now , we still haven’t built our appetites up ! I seem to be making up smaller meals and we still an’t eat all on our plates !
Mind you we have both lost weight , but we are eating less and it is frustrating to be throwing out food ! I don’t ever remember throwing out so much !

  39. Corrine<its Albert, I made a batch of CBD oil at 22,7%info 15 oz od coconut oil and MBM with letchin…seem like I an gettin 65 mg of CBD in a teaspoon of product?
