Think of these THC lozenges as your go-to for coughs, aches, and general “why is my face leaking?” days minus all the weird synthetic junk you find in most over the counter cold meds.

Now, I could go on (and on) about why edibles beat smoking when you’re using cannabis as plant medicine, but this is especially true when you’re sick.

Sure, getting knocked down by a bug can be a good time for a tolerance break.

But if you’re someone who deals with chronic pain or inflammation, catching a cold might also mean flare-ups and an uptick in pain symptoms. That’s where these little lozenges change the game.

They bring together honey and some of my favorite herbs for cold and flu season (the research-backed kind of herbs) to help soothe your throat and calm inflammation.

Add in a microdose of THC, and you’ve got a formula that could help with pain, pounding headaches, and getting some solid sleep while your immune system does its thing.

And because they’re edibles, you get that nice, slow-release effect so the relief lasts longer without constantly re-dosing.

If you’re already an edibles fan (hi, welcome), then you probably get it.

But being under the weather can also be a great time to rethink how you care for yourself—not just while you’re sick, but for the long haul.

Maybe this is the nudge to see if swapping smoking for edibles could play a role in not just easing symptoms in the moment but helping your body feel more balanced and supported overall.

Just sayin’ 🤓

Why These THC Lozenges Are Special

The herbal tea brings real plant power.
Chamomile calms. Elderberries are packed with antioxidants. Marshmallow root helps with dry coughs. Slippery elm coats the throat. Together, this herbal concoction does more than just taste good—it works.

Cannabis adds another layer of comfort.
Each lozenge delivers a gentle, functional dose of cannabis that supports relaxation and nervous system regulation.

Lozenges are a discreet, portable way to use plant medicine. No tea bags, no droppers, no guessing. Just grab and go. You can store these in a jar and they’ll last for weeks. Just make sure they’re fully coated and kept in a cool, dry place. If you live somewhere humid, a bit of parchment between layers helps.

PS: The herbal tea concentrate leftovers don’t need to go to waste.
Mix them with extra cannabis honey and you’ve got a quick homemade cough syrup. You can also stir the concentrate into warm water for a fast herbal tea on-the-go.

Tips for Dosing Calm Canna Drops

The beauty of these lozenges is how easy they are to customize. But when it comes to dosing, a little intention goes a long way.

  • Depending on how strong your cannabis-infused honey is, it’s best to start low and go slow. One batch of lozenges can vary in strength depending on your infusion process, so don’t guess.
  • Use the free Dosage Calculator to estimate the potency of your cannabis honey and figure out how much ends up in each lozenge. It only takes a minute and gives you confidence in every batch.
  • Track how each dose feels using the Dosage Tracker. This helps you fine-tune your ideal amount and avoid taking more than you need.
  • If you’re new to infused foods, start with half a lozenge or even less. Wait at least 90 minutes before deciding to have another.
  • Not sure how to prepare your cannabis for infusing? Download the Decarb Guide for simple, step-by-step instructions that unlock the full potential of your plant.

Start small. Pay attention. Adjust as needed. That’s the real magic of homemade herbal remedies.
